RFM/Microneedling:

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is safe and effective method of skin rejuvenation and treats many skin conditions. It restores the healthy youthful appearance of the skin by stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin.

Mechanism of action:

Microneedling works on injury and healing basis.ie when there is injury to any part of body, it attracts all the healing tissue leading to restoration of the affected organ.

Similarly, microneedling involves causing micro trauma to skin, which is 0.2 to 1.5mm deep, with microneedles. This micro trauma triggers a cascade of healing process including formation of new Collagen and Elastin, which are the main components in skin rejuvenation.

Microneedling is usually combined with different types of serum, which are penetrated in the skin through micro trauma, thus further enhancing and speeding up the process of maintaining smooth skin.

Whereas Radiofrequency microneedling, is a modern combined RF+microneedling treatment for different skin issues along with skin tightening. A unique disposable applicator with the finest gold-plated needles is used for the procedure – these are the conductors of the radiofrequency energy delivered to a certain depth from 0.1 to 4 mm, depending on the goal, the patient’s skin type, and the treatment area. The needles are insulated, meaning all the radiofrequency energy is concentrated at the tip of the needle. RF skin tightening is a modern technique for skin rejuvenation using radiofrequency waves.

This method is highly effective and requires minimal rehabilitation. With this technique, we can improve the condition of the skin not only on the face but also on any other part of the body.
