Face/scalp/Joint PRP
What Is PRP?
Patient’s own blood sample is obtained. Which is spined in centrifuge machine for 15min at the speed of 3500-4500 RPM. Which results in separation of blood cells sitting in the bottom of the tube separated by a layer of Gel from plasma. It is this plasma which is rich in platelets.
Mechanism of action:
Once injected in patient face in the sub-epidermis. It makes a temporary small blister, which smoothens out in next 24-48 hours, spreading the plasma rich in platelets. These platelets then cause the release of growth factors and regenerative molecules leading to collagen, Elastin formation and cellular growth. Which results in skin remodelling and rejuvenation and reduction in wrinkle and scars.
Hair loss: release of these growth factors and regenerative molecules increase blood flow to the hair follicle and helps in neo-angiogenesis. Which make hair follicle to become healthy and extends their anagen phase.
